Description
Solid 304 stainless steel, lead-free well tank tee with 1-1/4″ male NPT threaded tank connection, 1-1/4″ MNPT (1″ FNPT inside) inlet/outlet ports, (2) 1/4″ FNPT accessory ports (for pressure switch and pressure gauge) on top and (2) 3/4″ FNPT ports (for pressure relief valve & drain valve) at the front. It has a center-to-end length of 4-1/2″ and an overall length of ~5-1/4″.
This well tank tee model is a “Short” type and is commonly used for well tanks which have a connection which protrudes beyond the base (skirt) of the tank and is visible from the outside.
It also can be used in combination with an extension pipe nipple and a coupling to connect to a large diameter standing type tank.
1-1/4″ connection is ideal for larger size well tanks to allow for higher flow rates with minimal pressure drop.
